Get Out of the Bike Lane!

Saturday, K and I took our last trip to New York City. We joined up with other eager non-tourists for Corbin's 1st Annual Summer Solstice Walking Tour. We began by walking across the Brooklyn Bridge where we were yelled at by an angry native. Ahh, New York. Our tourguide was knowledgable, the weather was perfect, and my mojitos were flowing freely....who could ask for more? The highlight of the day was by far our last stop at Red Hook Park in Red Hook, Brooklyn. The taco stand food was amazing. I'm looking forward to next year's tour already.

Meet June & Keeper

Come with us on our journey from the "Armpit of America" (New Jersey) to what some refer to in the summer as "God's Easy Bake Oven" (Arizona). We are starting a new chapter in our lives and leaving behind the comfort, support, and familiarity of our family and friends in the Northeast. We wanted to keep a record of what's going on in our lives the next four years as Keeper attends medical school and I settle into a new teaching job out west. I invite you to check back to our blog often and see what we're up to!
